I'm a blogger now...whatever that means!

Okay....I've thought about doing this for a while now and never followed through with the idea. Today is the day for some reason. I think this will be an interesting way to keep up with what goes on in our lives and hopefully provide a little humor to someone, if anyone reads this! To start, I'll explain the title of the blog.

I, of course, am Queen Crazy Hair and my daughter is the Princess. Since she was born she has been blessed with what I assume is mostly my hair type. Any time she would sleep she would wake up with the craziest looking hair possible, even if she had not moved an inch! The longer her hair has gotten, the crazier it has gotten. It sticks out in some places, curls up in others, hangs in her eyes and is just flat in some spots. Therefore, my husband and I have affectionately called her Princess Crazy Hair since birth and I became the Queen. If you haven't guessed it already, my hair can have a life of it's own also. For those of you who know me and have ever seen me in the morning you may remember what I'm talking about. Most of the time you will find my hair securely pulled in a ponytail in the mornings due to its craziness, but there are always many escapees that manage to try to make a get away. Hubby thinks the Princess and I look just "lovely" in the mornings and even manages to make a crack at us pretty often, but we know he only picks on us because he loves us! Hubby only gets the King Crazy Hair title every now and then. Mostly because it takes a pretty heavy night of sleeping to make his stick straight, short hair do anything. He has his moments though and then we are a magazine cover ready family in the morning, if there is a magazine for super bad hair! Don't get me wrong, I love my hair! It's easy to fix because it's so curly and other than the mornings it usually looks pretty good (not to brag or anything). Hopefully, Princess' hair will pick a type and all strands will go along with it someday....if not, we've got some rough teenage years ahead of us. Oh well, she's beautiful to us no matter what! I'll try to find the best crazy hair pic I have and post it on here, just so you can truly appreciate the title of the blog! At least I finally got to the be Queen of something....even if it is bad, scary hair!
