4th of July Fun

We spent the 4th of July weekend with my parents for their annual family/friends cookout. Lots of food, pool time and much cherished family time!! I really love getting to spend time with everyone back in my hometown.....I just don't get to do it as often as I would like.

PCH had a BLAST!!! She swam almost everyday and screamed every time she got in the pool because it was a little chilly. Then she would realize it was fun and spend the rest of the time saying "weeeee" because that is apparently what you say when anything is fun!!

Take a look at PCH and I playing with sparklers. Yes, I let my child play with something that was burning. Come on, it's a sparkler.......how much damage can it do? Don't worry.....I held it the whole time, she was never in danger for all of you that just became concerned about my parenting skills.



This is the totally awesome fireworks show Hubby put on for PCH. We're waiting on calls from "Thunder on the Mountain" people to have him plan their show next year!! I'm sure you all know it doesn't take much to impress a 1 year old. Therefore, he achieved his goal!!
