Wanna go for a walk......

PCH had a big night......FINALLY took the elusive real first steps!!! All of the sudden, as she is up past her bed time she realized she could stand up without any help. She thought this was wonderful and decided to take a few little steps. Within ten minutes she was taking about 10 steps at a time. Hubby and I are the proudest parents in the whole world tonight. The parents of that kid on American Idol.....we're prouder. The parents of the child that just received a full scholarship to a great college......we're prouder. The parents of the child that did any other amazing, note worthy, prize winning, put it down in the history books achievement.....we're still prouder. I think you get the point. I know there will be many more moments like this in our lives, but I think I will always think back to this one. This is why you become a parent. The love and the joy in my heart is unexplainable. Of course we had to call all the grandparents to share the big news and they are just as happy!! PCH had it in her all along.......she's just that laid back kind of gal!

Tomorrow I think I will take her to Disney World. No, that's not really an option........I guess we will go to Wal-Mart instead!!
