What is she.....a teenager already?!?!

For the past few weeks PCH is obsessed with the telephone. I mean OBSESSED exactly how you are thinking of it. She spends about 75% of her day pretending to talk on the phone. She uses anything she can find to be her "phone." This ranges from a remote control, a baby doll, a book, post it notes, her hand if she has nothing else and of course, a real phone if she can get one! The funniest part is that while she babbles on this "phone" she has the ebb and flow of an actual conversation. She pauses, has the appropriate hmmms and uh-huhs and even laughs from time to time. We were in a store today for about 30 minutes and she spent the entire time in her stroller with her play cell phone talking to whoever she thinks is on the other end. Needless to say, this draws attention from strangers and manages to give them a good chuckle. She does actually talk to real people on the phone, grandparents, Hubby at work, etc. and this is hilarious from my end. Her facial expressions and had gestures with the baby babble are priceless. She knows for SURE what she is telling them! I realize now how much she must watch me and learn from me.........she can't walk alone yet (at 15 months old), but she can talk a mean conversation on the phone! I'm so proud. Hey, at least we make people smile.....it may be the only time that stranger smiles all day!! :)
