It was finally time to do something with PCH's shaggy bangs. She will not keep anything in her hair to keep them out of her eyes and she was even starting to constantly push them out of her face. So, today was the big day!!

Post-trim picture when we got home. After all the screaming, crying and practically being held down to cut the bangs. I tipped the poor girl $5 for a $5 bang trim......she deserved it for putting up with my uncooperative child!

And now I'm happy and about to eat my reward McNugget Happy Meal! She looks so different to me and I'm having a hard time getting used to the new look. I guess it's hard for me to see her growing up so fast. She's 16 months old today!
On a side note to the previous post about the "big girl bed"......as of today she has fallen out about three times (no injuries) and I found her in the hallway one night apparently making her way to our room. I think she got confused once she hit the dark hallway!! I guess all this is to be expected!!
Also, note the fading bruise on the cheek. This is thanks to PCH and Hubby playing "chase me" on the hardwood floors. Note to other parents.....not a good game when you're still learning to walk! The red dot on the forehead is thanks to a mosquito while we were playing outside yesterday. What next??
